POST 16 FACILITIES
Post 16 Base
Our POST 16 base comprises of two large, dedicated classrooms at our Totton Site, each equipped with PC’s, digital projectors, flexible desk space and a range of POST 16 resources.
These classrooms serve as the base for the English, Maths, PSHE/Careers and tutorial sessions.
In addition, students utilise three other key facilities depending on their chosen curriculum pathway:
Construction Hub
A large, multi-room constuction hub with state of the art facilities for carpentry, bricklaying, painting and decorating and basic plumbing.
School Farm
A superbly resourced farm with a classroom, workshop, poly-tunnels, environmental pond, paddock and wide range of animals from guinea pigs to alpacas for our animal care courses.
Outdoor Learning Centre
Our small outdoor centre comprising of an indoor climbing barn, indoor archery range, mountain bike trail, forest school and orienteering course. It is also provides additional farm facilities including pigs, sheep and highland cows.
Post 16
The learning facilities are hugely impressive, helping to provide pupils with a high quality experience. Innovative refurbishments as well as specialist classrooms are enhancing pupils’ education even further. Pupils will continue to benefit from the company’s two farms and outdoor learning centre, where provision is planned to deliver aspects of the quality of education and to broaden pupils’ personal development and character.
